A Frosty Update
Ok, so I don't live in Canada or the USA in areas where it snows, and for those of you who read this blog and actually live in an area that recieves snow fall you will probably laugh at this post. We just don't get snow where I live, in fact there really isn't many areas in Australia where it does snows, but the other morning it was so cold, we had so much frost on the ground it looked like a thin layer of snow.
When I took the girls down to the bus stop I took my camera with me and took a few quick photos.
Good news is we have had some beautiful sunny days even though we are having really cold nights! Yay!
.... Just another day ....

The dusting of snow looks so pristine!
Although we get some heavy thunderstorms and rainshowers here during the summer, it does get quite hot. Though it's been a somewhat mild July this year. August is often the most unbearable month in NYC. Enjoy the occasional bursts of sun!
You're right, we probably would laugh. We have friends of the family that live in Australia. They came to visit in the USA one winter and said they would come "on condition" that there was snow. The kids didn't know what to do or how to react to the tons of white stuff that we had.
It's hard to imagine cold weather in July as we're in the middle of the summer.
LOL Ha.. and LOL again.
You made my day D :)
This fall winter I will take some pictures of what real snow looks like. Maybe from the river and from the Mountains.
I am glad your alive and kicking.
Hope you had a great fast.

I think I have shots somewhere from a couple of years ago when we got about 16 inches and I had to dig my way out of the house. Snow is the best.
Brrrrr, bundle up!
I find that frost looks especially nice from the window next to a blazing fireplace!
Stay warm!! Sending rays of warm sunshine your way!
